Got my hands on a 6'10" the other day and loved it. All I own by Falcon for now is originals, but I don't know for how long. I would really like some input on these if anyone can give it. Thanks

go with your instincts - this is a great rod - i have an earlier generation without the split grip but i've turned heads on bass up to 8 pounds using the rod with 30-pound braid - it's a pitching machine
