The Calais 100A only exist as right handed, you want a lefty you 'll have to go JDM for an Anatres AR.

I used to own one ( sold it to get me a TDZ  ), fantastic little reel, kinda like a beamer M3, a luxury sedan with a twist of sportscar  ; small, easy to palm, silky smooth, capable of handling all kind of baits including the small ones, the spool is similar to the one found in the Chronarch Mg and Chronarch 100B ( low mass further lightened ), at any price below retailit 's a no brainer.

In my opnion the Calais 100A is the best casting low profile reel we offer.

The Calais 100a is one sweet reel for sure.  My favorite use is for tossing larger wide wobbling shallow cranks.  I have mine paired with a Loomis CBR 756 and use it for "combat cranking" in heavier cover. 8-)
