Spiderwire Ultracast Fluorocarbon (good/bad)?

Featured Replies

Have any of you used Spiderwire Fluoro? It has decent reviews and its not super expensive. What are your thoughts on this line? Thanks!

I've been wondering the same thing myself, hopefully you get a few replies. Im planing on trying it as soon as it gets warm I've read that it works well on spining reels due to the diameter.

it really is all about personal preference, if it works well for you and you find it to be in your price range than go for it, If you try it and feel like it just doesn't stack up than go with one with a good fan base like trilene 100%, seaguar, or even a copolymer line like Yo-Zuri hybrid. Fishing is all about trial and error if you try the spiderline and dont like it, then at worst you're out what $10?

But if you're throwing BC gear i highly recommend the hybrid 10-12 and for spinning I like to use trilene 6

Might I suggest YoZuri Hybrid, but get the Ultrasoft..for both spinning, and baitcasting.
