I remember one trip to BPS in particular where my receipt was longer than my inseam.

I believe it was 2003, and the Packers had just blown a playoff game in the final seconds to the Eagles.  4th and 26 and the Pack's defense left Freddy Mitchell open.  I had to vent my anger, so the next day I went to BPS and took it out on my credit card.

Anyways....nice haul.  I really like Bandit's salad bar pattern.

I was there Friday and dropped about $50 on Rapala, Strike King and BPS lures.  Unfortunately they did not have any of the Strike King Premier Plus Spinner baits left, they were sold out of all colors.

Sadly I know that feeling... :-[

I work about 10 minutes from the BPS in Hanover MD (south of Baltimore)

I have been in that store so many times I can help customers find where stuff is.  At one time,  I worked 3 minutes away and would go over every day at lunch.  I have gotten relatively immune to having to buy every time.  But,  it takes practice,  lots of practice. (and no money  ;))

Slower lower huh, Im in the same area as you.  I too have to make special trips to BPS but fortunately my wifes parents live in Baltimore so everytime she makes me go I stop off at the store.  Its good to see another local fisherman on the board.

Hey H2oman welcome to the forums

p.s i was wondering how long it would take for another local to join

Yeah thanks I've been lurking forever.  Just bought a little 10 foot boat last year to go out in.  We will have to share some knowledge as the weather starts getting warmer!!
