Well, long story short I got a great deal on twice used Stradic 2500FI from a friend. I've tested out both the 2500 and 3000FI in stores and really like the handle on the 3000 much better.

Does anyone know if I get a handle for the 3000 will it fit in my 2500? I know nothing about these reels, I wouldn't even own one this expensive except for my fishing buddy.

I tried google and nothing. If there is the answer to this somewhere else on this forum please let me know.

    I would call Shimano.  I put on a cardinal 804 handle on my cardinal 802 reel, I much prefer it.
