I was thinking about buying one for flipping as well, but I am torn between the 7'6" H, Fast tip or 7'3" H, XF tip. What will make the bigger difference, 3 inches or the action of the tip?

A little late to ask now! I am not trying to be a punk. I too will be looking for a casting rod.I was thinking of this rod too but, after reading all the posts I am leaning toward the Carbonlite!

Not much of a difference, but I personally would (and did) choose the 7'3. It's lighter and balances better.
