I was thinking it was a white rod. I thought he had a new company and the rod was white! Oh, maybe I am just getting too old and seeing things!

The Veritas isn't a signature series rod so I assume it's the Daiwa rods that are on sale.  When someone asks about Iaconelli's Daiwa rods you don't automatically think steez/L&T because he uses them, you think about the rod that has his name on it.  Honestly, I don't understand the hype about him using them for the classic, we'll never see the actual rods he is using, they're prototypes.
