How do you put uncle joshes trailers on?

Featured Replies

how are you supposed to put uncle joshes pork trailers on? I tried putting it straight through the middle and it was too thick and i couldnt get the whole hook through so i cut it off and wasted a trailer without even using it yet.

Uncle josh usually punches a hole in the bait to slide your hook through, but I have noticed lately that a lot of bottles have come without being punched. I don't know if it's a quality control issue or they just don't do it any more. Use a pointed x-acto knife to cut a hole or use a big finishing nail over a piece of wood with a hammer and pre-punch the baits for your hooks. That's what I do. I hope this helps.

your not alone my friend...nobody likes them clip things...

most likely, the problem is the ones your getting are too old

thought mine were fine, then i went out of my way to get fresh ones, you wouldnt believe the difference

those thinigs hang on sheves longer than you would ever know

you could get an ice pick and help the hole along for now!

If you think it is difficult to get them on the hook, just wait until you try to get them off.

Super Pork! I am not too pleased with Uncle Josh pork trailers (although I will at times use the Phantom Craws). Uncle Josh porks not as soft as I would like them to be, tougher than nails to put on hooks and taking if off is another task in its own.

Super Pork is much softer, easier to get on and off hooks, slightly cheaper and holds better action.

Give it a shot.
