Falcon BuCoo vs Shimano Compre

Featured Replies

i need a new spinning rod and a new spinnerbait rod.....i kinda settled on these two brands in this price range but i am always open minded for any other brands.....i would appreciate any advice on legth and actions.....the spinnin rod will be used for tubes and senkos.thanx

I have a Compre 6'6" 1-pc MH Fast action that I use for tubes and senkos and it's really nice.  Casts lightweight plastics a mile and the sensitivity is great!  It's my wacky-rig / open-water tube rig (with a Sonora reel and 8# fluoroclear).

I have no experience with the Falcon, but wanted to share my experience with the Compre with you.  I'd recommend the Compre to a friend so take that for what its worth!

I had a Bucoo, but traded it for a Compre. Now I have 2 Compres a 7' M XF, and a 6'6" M XF. Don't get me wrong the Bucoo is a good rod, I just prefer the Compre.

i've heard good things about both but i've got falcons and shimano rods just not the kind your talkin bout. personally i dont like shimano rods cuz i've had one break on me but i replace it and its held up. I like my falcons they satisfy me. rod brands are just ones opinion get whatever one you like
