Knot?

Featured Replies

Palomar!

There is another thread on here about floro-knots.

What ever you feel you tie the best is what you should use.

I use a palomar on smaller things. Things such as cranks, spinnerbaits, topwaters i use a cinch knot.

Only because I have a hard time getting the bigger baits through the loop with getting snagged.

Lubricate your line with spit or your "fish formula smelly stuff". Heat from the knot tying friciton weakens floro (and mono).

Knots that work well with Fluorocarbon:

Alberto

Uni

Eugene

Palomar

Snell

Fluorocarbon will separate the men from the boys when it comes to knot tying ability. Always do a strength test after tying a knot.
