Im getting a Rick Clunn reel sooon ive heard that this reel is great. Is there any other reel that is better then the Rick Clunn. That is not to much in cost thank u

i have been using rc reels every sinse they came out and have never had any problems with any of them. you will like it and im guessing youll buy more

Ya I have three main combos and on two of the three I have RC reels. I have had them for about a year now and never had any problems.

I bought one for $70, the 5.4:1 (5.2:1) maybe for crankin'.

I'm so pleased with it I may buy the burner before they sell out. This reel casts and performs as well as my shimanos and revos. Just to be clear, the one on clearance right? BTW, the new version looks exactly the same. Anybody have the new one?

if your shopping BPS , look at the pro qualifier , alot of people on here really like them . and check out the carbonlite reel( they are about 3 ozs. less than the rick clunn reels !!!) 

I would normally recommend the PQ - on sale on-line right now for $79. However, if you use left-hand bc reels - the 2009 model Rick Clunn (left-hand only remaining) is on clearance on-line right now for $59.77 - a killer deal.

I have 5 PQs and 2 RCs - good reels - great values. Got all but one at sale/clearance prices. All have dual braking - an outstanding feature.
