Does anyone now what the main differance between these reels is besides the color? is the SXT worth the extra cost?

    I could be wrong but my understanding the scorpion has the japan market breaking system.   The Curado is set up to be saltwater rated. Other than that they are the same reels.

    Nope, the braking system is the same, the Scorpion has one more bearing, a lighter spool and the reel weights slightly less.

    If those features are worth the extra cost depends entirely on you.
