Maybe I should've posted "Anyone use MH X-fast for tubes!" ;D I usually throw 4"tubes on a MH BC with 12-15# flouro. On the spinning rod I was using 6# green sufix elite and my hook was texposed. It almost felt as if the rod was too stiff for this bait. Did I just answer my own question?

What the heck do I use this beefy spinning rod for? I dont think I need this rod :o

Anyone have a new Avid AVC68MXF or AVC70MHXF? Trade?

    i dont know about your style of fishing but i get better hook sets on stiffer rods with plastics. spinning or casting.

    if youre looking for an excuse to trade it, go for it. i have the LE version of the 68mxf and it is a sweet rod.
