Poes Cranks

Featured Replies

I have about a hundred or so of the Poes Cranks in all colors, lips and, sizes. Was wondering if tey have any true value besides being great crankbaits. 80% of the lures have never been in the water and some of them infact are still in the packages. Thoughts?

Are they made in the U.S. or Mexico?

The ones made in California will be in a fish-shaped package or a very small box....on the back, they'll state that they're made in CA and usually have a year (it will be in the late 80's).   These are "worth" the most, but aren't really worth all that much (they tend to go for about $6-$10 on eBay).

If they're made in Mexico, they're only worth what someone might be willing to pay, which usually isn't much, as the quality on these baits is awful.

Yes I do in fact. The problem being that I am in Iraq and will not be home until the middle or end of March. I will hit you up around that time and see if you may be interested in those if you want.

Thats a very good bait...I bought a bunch off ebay a couple years ago

MSBERRY let me know if you have any in ghost(white/bone) that you want to sell

Poe's the most overrated crankbait I ever brought sooo much of!

Good bait but even David Fritts himself said he would go through dozens of packs at the factory before he'd fine one that ran true. I had the same problem most of mine were not true. try explaining that to a tackle shop when you're shaking all the boxes trying to see if the eye is bent or not  ;)
