do i want the MBR782C GLX?

Featured Replies

i sold off my older baitcasters about 2 yrs ago and have collected 3 since then.

bcr803 glx

mbr783 glx

mbr844 glx

im looking for a baitcaster to mainly toss shallow/light billed cranks, small spinnerbaits and buzzbaits with. it will be paired with a chronarch 51mg.

should i get the mbr782c?

if youve fished both the IMX and GLX, how do they compare as far as action and power? i dont mind losing a little sensitivity if the IMX "feels" better for moving baits.

thanks in advance

YES. You DO want this rod for small cranks, spinnerbaits, and buzzbaits. Another bonus is that it is an outstanding jerkbait rod as well - not to mention a super sweet topwater rod! I have the exact same setup - except with a Chronarch 50MG - and use it for all those things. I like the feel of the GLX better as it's a bit softer than the IMX version which comes in handy for me especially since I crank/jerkbait most often with this rod. You'll be happy you went with the GLX

have yet to find a better stick for pop-r's, pointers and small cranks than the mbr782.

a perfect match for that 51mg.
