When fishing braid with a flouro leader I know braid will float and flouro will sink,my question is will heavier #test flouro sink quicker,and will a longer flouro leader sink quicker.I ask because if I'm finesse worm fishing and want the fall to be a little faster will these affect the fall rate.I also crappie fish and sometimes the fall is the key to getting them to bite as well.

Good question. Dunno. Factors are: line density, line diameter, lure weight and resistance. Gonna have to figure that out for yourself. My guess is diameter will still be the major factor.

Surface tension plays a role too, since it takes a bit of time for the FC to sink. On the last half of the retrieve or so, it's actually more difficult to pick the lure up on FC since the line is down more horizontal with the lure. This is an advantage of FC in deeper water, in keeping less bow between rod tip and lure. But it likely changes the rise and fall of a lure. 

I'd love to see this in a swimming pool to really know what this actually looks like.

The higher pound test fluorocarbon lines sink faster than the lower pound test fluorocarbon lines, why you ask? because it weighs more. It's that simple.

I use a fluorocarbon leader just for the purpose of making the braid sink. I use the 20# test fluorocarbon 99% of the time when adding a leader.
