The pro qualifier is better in every aspect. I had a couple extremes and they were solid reals. I now own mostly pro qualifiers and they are a darn nice reel.

    I have three of each that I use regularly. The Extremes are good cheaper reels. They are fine for most applications. They don't shine with lighter weights.

    As ToledoEF said the PQs are better reels in every way. I think they are fine reels and a great value.

    IMO the PQ is the best reel under a 100 bucks.  I have 2, one Extreme, a Curado, have used and owned Accurist PT's.  Hands down the PQ is the best reel in its price range.
