FILPPING AND PITCHING...FISHING

Recommended Posts

I AM A DIE HARD CAST AND RETRIEVE FISHERMAN SO I THOUGHT I'D TRY SOMETHING NEW. (FLIPPING). I BOUGHT SHIMANO BANTAM BRUSH BUSTER 10 W/O MANUEL. I NEED HELP FIGURING IT OUT. THE REEL SEEMS TO HAVE A TIGHT CAST. IT TAKES A HEAVY WEIGHT TO FLIP IT. IS THIS NATURAL?

MAYBE IF YOU TURNED OFF THE CAPS LOCK, SOMEONE WOULD ANSWER YOUR QUESTION. ONLY TYPING IN CAPS IS CONSIDERED RUDE AND IS DIFFICULT TO READ.

Now, onto your question. Generally if you are going to be flipping, your going use a heavy rig. So it could be made for the higher weight spectrum. Also, many Shimano reels come with a larger than normal volume of grease and oil in them. Maybe try getting it professionally cleaned and see if that helps it.
