New rod Help

Featured Replies

I am thing about getting a new rod reel. I want a rod that would work good for throwing crankbaits and carolina rigs any suggestions? My budget is 75.00-100.00

crankbaits and Carolina rigs are complete opposites when it comes to rod action.. crankbaits you want a mod action rod with alot of flex to it so it can work the crank properly and it will help keep the bass hooked up when the want jump.. c-rig you want a stiffer rod so you can drive the hook home on long and deep cast. are you deep crankin or throwing shallow cranks?
