I see the combo is back in the stores for Father's day and I'm thinking about picking up the 4' 10 (i think that the size). The reel seems very smooth and the online reviews seems high. I also like the sale price of $39.94 compare to $59.94 but before I buy I wonder who fished one and how they feel about the combo?

The reel is excellent. The pole is also pretty good. I almost picked up another when I saw that sale.
