I've been an Revo user past couple years. finally decided to give a citica a try. How do you set the VBS braking so it's optimal for your lure.

I would start with every other one on.  3 on total, should be a good place to start.

Later,

the citica comes from the factory with the brakes set at 3 on/3off...just leave it as is. adjust the tension knob for the weight of the lure and go fish.

I set mine 2 on, 4 off.

i started with 2 on. now i only keep 1 on unless im casting into strong wind. spool tension is your friend.
