I needed a heavier spinning rod for skipping dock's, so I made the "homage" to park fall's wisc to get me a "new" rod ended up getting a avid serie's 7 ft medium, it was a customer return, or was used by a factory employee, it didn't matter!! ;D I got it for 1/2 price, they also had a "bin" of mojo rod's and another bin of rod's with legend elite's in it for 50.00 Later all! I'm thinking of heading up there this weekend.  Do they have a decent selection of Avids?  Are most rods discounted approx 50%?

Yes thier "b" stock rod's or 2nd's are 40 to 50percent off retail! But for some reason they scrape the legend sticker off the blank :-? they had a whole bin full of rod's some had tip's broke but some didn't, legend elite's are like 300.00 aren't they? They have a lot of avid's, the reason I got my avid for this price is it was a year old had the flat finish which I prefer nayway!  Junebugman

When your there ask them to check the back for a specific rod. They have rejects everyday but keep in mind these rods at 50% off do no carry a lifetime warranty. One year only and you must have a receipt.

The trips to St Croix have always been hit and miss, but when you find a deal it is definitely worth the drive. The only thing missing is a courtesy room. 8-)
