What other techniques/baits would be well suited for a good crankbait rod?  I have one but I don't throw cranks alot.  I feel bad just letting it sit there getting no attention.

Depending on the power and action, spinnerbaits, small swimbaits, jerkbaits, topwater, and swimming grubs

I use mine for topwater. I throw alot of spook/walk the dog lures with it.

Top water works good with my cranking rod.

any lures with trebles are good for cranking rods
