Replacing an older rod...

Featured Replies

So, my current lineup of rods is this.

MH 7'6" X Fast Flipping/Large plastics

MH 7'6" Mod Fast Flipping/Frogging/Large Plastics

M 7'6" Cranking

M 7'2" X Fast Spinning

I'm going to replace an old Daiwa M rod that had the tip broken off an repaired a while back with another Crucial. I was extremely happy with the two I picked up not long enough.

I'm looking for another worm/multi purpose rod. I really liked the 7' M drop shot casting rod, but it just has too soft of a tip for my liking. I'm leaning towards the CRCX70M, but I really can't make up my mind if I should pick up another MH or drop down to a M for lighter worming.

Appreciate any input you all have.

I would get a 7' M/XF for light/unweighted plastics.

By the way your link is not working.

My favorite rod is a BPS Pro Qualifier 7' MXF. For jigs to 3/8 oz and most plastics it is perfect. It is a very good multi-purpose rod.

I am not necessarily trying to sell the PQ, just the length, power, and action. I don' think you can go wrong with the PQ though. ;)
