Okuma Trio Spinning Reel.

Featured Replies

Have any of you master bassers out there purchased/used an Okuma Trio spinning reel ?  Iv'e had some great results with Okuma spinning reels in the past and picked one up at a very competetive price.  If no one has, I guess I might do a review if I can ever get out and fish it.  Local steelheaders here in SW WA. are hot on this reel.

I like mine, got a 20 for bluegill and crappie fishing and haven't used it all that much. Did take it to the creek and fished some crappie tubes for gills and small spots, it has a strong and smooth drag and retrieves smoothly. I was worried about the neck joint at first but it seems built solid.

Well I didn't do my homework.  The Okuma, although a great value only had a retrieve of 25 inches per revolution. I took it back and traded up and went with a different manufacture altogther. :)
