Not yet cold on Daiwa, but............

I bought a tierra 3000 couple of months ago and the reel performed just fine handling fish up to about 10#.  Last week I hook and landed a cuda about 42", maybe 20# or so and this fish was a screamer.  Didn't catch anything else that day and I put the outfit down for a few days.  Took it yesterday and now my drag is very herky jerky and not smooth as it once was, hopefully it will be repaired under warranty.

I have caught many fish of the same size using comparable reels of other brands and never ran in to this problem before.  IMO this reel isn't even close to a ABU soron or stradic.
