Featured Replies

Ok I was at the FLW this weekend and saw alot of new stuff, I saw the new Boyd Buckett with Micro guides, a new series from Boyd Duckett a lazer lure crankin rod with micros both were super light!! Ok there is a new series from Castaway it is a College series with ALL the colors from all the teams with micro guides and will retail for $69-$89. That is really all the new stuff that was there but they had some AWESOME deals like a Quantum Superlite for $89 so I will be going next year I should be at the nest B.A.S.S. expo

Where do you think the new products will go?

I'm not sure I understand what you're asking.

A landfill, eventually.

Boy so much hate towards this kid. With about every post he makes too. What he must think about the adults that share the same interests he does.  Makes me so proud to be a forum member.

Help him out and answer his questions if you are so ashamed.

Was that directed at me? I honestly didn't understand what he was asking.

Team Golija, who knows what will catch on and what won't. As a college football junkie, I am interested in seeing the college rods. I'm sure they would sell a ton of them down here in Texas, but I think burnt orange would make one ugly rod!

I wonder if that's a college series rod in Mich.St8 Spartan's avatar.

don't be hating on the lamiglas excel, its burnt orange and is an awesome rod

I think the Lazer Lure is pretty gimmicky.  It's even more bizarre that there is now a rod - that many people are skeptical of, anyhow - that is designed to throw Lazer Lure baits.  To me, it is comparable to having a Banjo Minnow rod.  He may sell a few and they may be decent cranking rods but I find it pretty odd to mass produce a "Lazer Lure rod".

The Castaway college series rods will probably initially sell decently because people will buy anything with their favorite team on it.  And they aren't that expensive to boot.
