Advice on the lamiglas excel bass series casting rods.

Featured Replies

After reading reds post it made me intersted in the lamiglas series .I would be looking at the 7'3ft mh casting rod for throwing jigs and texas rigs. I am wondering on the sensitivity i have some high end rods such as the shimano crucial and a few carrot stixs and a cumara. So I guess what I am asking is how does the sensitivity compare to any of those rods i understand this is only a 109.00 dollar rod but still would like a sensitive rod.

I built a rod on that blank, I have been very, very pleased with it. It is fairly light and sensitivity has been better than I expected. I use it primarily for Senkos and Flukes, it has enough backbone with a nice soft tip.

Tackle Tour did a review of that particular rod.

i have the 704C and love it, very light and sensative, i use mine for spinnerbaits, light texas rigs, and light jigs, i will be buying more
