BPS 5 for 5

Featured Replies

Anyone get their 5 lures for $5 from BPS. Roadwarrior was correct. Not much to them. Should have came with a Snoopy spinning reel and rod. :-[

I agree, and have to admit he was right.  Last years 5/5 was way better.  These are better termed as Crappie (and crappy) Lures, not Bass...

i did not get it but...

stop complaining, you got free shipping which actually saveed you money if your order was more than 25 or 30 dollars.

Exactly!  The look on some little kids face when out of the blue I hand them over is going to be priceless. I would do it again in a heartbeat!

If you got your total order, it was a mistake. In my case, I was using points and they charged my points for shipping on the stuff that wasn't part of the 5 for $5. I was so p_ssed when I saw the baits and that they had gone back and charged my points I complained and they let me return the 5 for $5 at their shipping cost. They would have saved money if they would have credited me $5 and told me to keep the minature baits. I don't fish for minnows so I had no use for the junk they sent for the $5. Last BPS "special" deal they will catch me on, plus I will shop every other online store I can before they will see my cash. They will get my points business and nothing else. This 5 for $5 was what I would expect from a foreign telemarketer that wasn't planning on being in business under the same name long.

I didn't get bit the way JOF did, but when I got my baits I wondered who shrunk them down to itsy-bitsy baits.  Not only that, the hooks are really awful.  So, they will be used for panfish by the family juveniles because I don't think any self-resecting bass over 5" will bother with these toys.

So, being POed at BPS, I just completed an order with another site for a bunch of stuff that was mailed out overnight.  I ordered stuff two days ago and got a box of goodies on the doorstep this morning.

There was someone on the site that was collecting lures to help kids fish. Does anyone remember whom it was? I have these and somemore lures and plastics that I would like to ship him if he is still doing it.

Contact "muddy man".  He seems to have a fantastic ongoing program.
