Some pretty good stuff in there, notibly the Daiwa Exceler spinning reel for 1/2 off.  $40 is a good buy on that.  Then the Abu Garcia Revo S reel/All Star rod combo for $100, that's a decent deal too.  Saw a Shimano Sienna spinning combo for $35, not bad either.

The DT cranks for 2.99 each caught my eye, but I don't think I'll be there Friday at 6am to take advantage of the deal.

Thanks for the heads up! They have the gander mountain branded rods on clearance to in store. The higher end models are made by american rodsmiths (at least a few models are) and are an excellent value. I picked up a very nice crank rod there yesterday for $30  8-)

Not sure if its an official national "sale", they just had about 40 rods in the middle aisle  marked down.

The deal on the Veritas is pretty good too. You get a $20 gift card with it.

this year's sale is kind of disappointing. don't think I'll be there early to take advantage of this.

Good price on the Gerber tool.  And if that queen raised air bed is any good, $39 is a helluva price.
