Lucky Craft Lipless Pointer (Wander).... anybody used???

Featured Replies

I saw these at my favorite bait shop the other day, and they look really cool.

I asume it's a sinking bait that acts like an underwater dog walking bait.

They were out of the 100 size, and the smaller one (80 I think) looks too small to me.

Just curious if anyone has used them and where to find them? I can't find them anywhere.

Do they still make em???

Thanks

SC

The Wander (or Lipless Pointer as you mentionned) is a big hit on the french atlantic coast for Sea bass... because it casts a mile and is very finesse oriented !

I think it was discontinued in the US, maybe LC did not do enough to explain the way the bait works.

The lure is sure different from the rest of the pack ! But heck it caches a lot of fish, both in salt and fresh-water for me. I love the way it rolls side-to-side when falling on a slack line.

BTW, nice chunky bass in your avatar pic !  8-)

Unfortunately, when you fish it, you basically feels pretty much nothing in your line (I guess a lot of anglers don't like that) !

Best way to use it for me, is cast an steady slow retrieve, pause and let it fall. I basically never twitch that bait.

Works for me !
