YUM big show craw   new bait!!!

Featured Replies

i have just found a new bait that yum is producing called the big show craw   i found  it interseting because it haves a little different look and profile then your regular craws  just wondering if anyone has any luck on them or any tips on using them

They have that profile as they are designed mainly as a bait to be punched through grass on a heavy Texas rig.  If you flip a lot of matted grass, these should be a good bait.

Still, like all plastics, they can be used in many ways.

o really    thats neat  i didnt know that   hmmm  i normally fish around rock and laydowns and docks not so much grass   should i buy them or just forget them for now?

Like I said, they can be used in many ways.   They just have all the legs and appendages laying like they do so that they do not get caught on the cover as they slide through.   Try em and see what they do for you.

ok thanks brad    and dean thats what im thinking so im definety going to find them for a reasonable price and grab some of them

IMO they look good to use as a jig trailer. Slide the tail end of the craw onto the hook and have it to where the claws and head stick up like a crawfish in defense mode. I think that would work great!  ;)

I haven't seen these.  I use the Yum Crawbugs quite a bit and these are completely different from them.  I see how their profile is designed for thick mats.  I may give them a try.

LooksLikeSinbad: dang, I was scrolling down reading about those great looking craw baits and then I though someone had actually posted a MIRROR on this thread, but then I realized I'm not QUITE that grey....YET:o)
