I have a PFlueger President spinning reel. I have problem with the bale closing on its own while starting my cast. I don't fish with spinning reels much, this is the only one i own, and have never worked on or owned another. Just wondering if i am doing something wrong, or could it be a mechanical problem. Any advice is appreciated.

Bail not closing or closing on it 's own ---> bad bail spring, all you have to do is to replace it.
