This sort of feeds off of several other threads asking "what line do you guys like for....", so I thought it would be useful to ask this same question for a variety of techniques. So what kind of line do you guys throw for:

*Jigs

*Spinnerbaits

*Texas rigged plastics

*Finesse

*Soft/hard jerkbaits

This ought to have a variety of opinion.

Jigs- 50# PP or Spiderwire Stealth

Spinnerbaits- 30# PP or Spiderwire Stealth

Texas Rigged Plastics- 6-8# Yo-Zuri Hybrid Ultra Soft

Finesse- 6# Yo-Zuri Hybrid Ultra Soft

No fluoro, ever.

i fished 30 lb powerpro for everything last year so I way not be the best person to ask.  I fish mostly ponds in the spring and small rivers in the summer.  Most people would think this is crazy but I don't feel that I loose any fish due to fishing braid with everything.  I don't catch any less fish than I did when I fished mono.  I have a really flexible rod that conteracts the lack of stretch in braid when I fish crankbaits.  Some people like to use a florocarbon leader but the fish don't seem to notice the lack of one.

*Jigs - 50lb Power Pro Braid

*Spinnerbaits - 14lb McCoy Mean Green Coly

*Texas rigged plastics - 12lb McCoy Mean Green Coly

*Finesse - 6-8lb McCoy Mean Green Coly

*Soft/hard jerkbaits - 12lb BPS Fluorocarbon ATM, but I prefer 10lb McCoy Mean Green Coly (The fluoro is too expensive to remove lol)
