spooling some 50# mono, found that knots are real hard to get tight cause of line diaeter, wondering if putting a drop of super glue on the knot would be ok or will the glue just melt the line and weaken it?

I've never used super glue, but I've read on this forum of people who do use a drop on some knots.  I would read the label on the package to see if it reacts adversely with plastics.
