BOYD DUCKETT

Featured Replies

HI GUYS, HAS ANYONE  TRYED   THE BOYD DUCKETT RODS YET, IF SO , WHAT KIND OF REEL AND WHAT SIZE LINE DO YOU USE. I HAVE SEEN ONE AND THE GUIDES ARE REAL SMALL. I HAVE ALL ALL STAR RODS, AND WAS THINKING OF GETTING A FEW OF THE DUCKETT ONES, THE WEIGHT ON THEM IS SO MUCH LIGHTER. THANKS  361 RANGER

I have a 7ft MH casting. It has a Abu Garcia C3 4600 on it and is spooled with 15lb trilene flouro. They are nice rods very light and sensititve. I haven't fished much with it I just got it this year so I cant comment on durability but they have a 20yr warranty.

Caps Lock Police?

:)

Tried one briefly... but not enough to form a solid opinion

Been using the 6'6mh spinning with a Stradic Ci4 2500, dear lord I love it! finesse jigs around docks, I couldnt ask for better weight/sensitivity/casting, If the casting rods are as good, and prove to be durable, I may be replacing some Loomis's  :)
