The lakes aren't frozen up there?  Chatterbaits in Minnesota in March?

Yeah its still frozen pretty hard.  We still had about 20 inches of hard ice last weekend.

Oh no no no no. I didnt mean now. This was fall last year.

Nice. What lake? I have some pics of White Bear Lake bass but they're pretty small..

Shouldn't be too long until we have open water.  The Mississippi has been swarming with boats.  Walleyes below the dam, I assume.

Was planning on trout fishing this weekend, but with all the snow we are supposed to get, I may have to reconsider.

Yea. I want to move to a better state!! I had to walk home in the rain today. It looks bad out. Bad winds, rain. I hate this state. But hey, I can pretty much walk to the nearest lake.

I spent a couple years living out of state, and would never say that I hated it.  I love this state, even when the weather is horrible.

The fishing is great, the people are nice, and there isn't any fauna that can easily kill you.
