Gile Flowage, WI - Looking for tips!

Featured Replies

Hi guys!

My father-in-law and I are headed up to his cabin near Hurley, WI at the end of this month, and are going to be fishing the Gile Flowage.  We are going to be targeting Smallies and Musky.  Does anybody have some tips for us??

So far, I have seen from garmin rec. lakes and fishing hotspots, that we should mainly target the shoreline and small coves on the west side of the flowage.  Additionally, we will only be running fast in the deepest parts of the lake, so as to miss teh shallow boulders etc.  but thats all i know so far!!  Anybody know anything that would help???

thanks!!
