Cableman that is a nice boat. I'm afraid I would have had to put the goggles on and go for it.

Congratulations

SWEET!!

Based on your hull offset, I'd say your motor is a bit high.  My local mechanic proved to me that your boat should not be shooting "rooster tails" on plane at WOT.  If it is, you're wasting efficiency.

That boat with that motor should run about 70.  If you're setup is optimum and the right prop is being used.

She's beautiful!  She'll last a long time if you keep her covered up.  Have fun!

I'm officially jealous by the way.  I'm still waiting to get mine.

Very nice!!!!

Very nice.  And remember as my uncle once told me boats are suppose to get wet, so whats the rain going to hurt.

I just saw this thread and something seems odd.

The post date is Aug of this year yet there are no leaves on the trees, there's a Redbud in bloom and a Dogwood about to bloom.  This looks more like April in Oklahoma vs August.

Interesting observation.

I'm sure there is a logical answer for this. Right ?

Nice looking out. I don't know how I missed that. He might be able to explain it, but that ain't what August looks like in Oklahoma.

Cart,

In fact that doesn't even look like April.  Check out the other ranger posted with an april pic attatched.  Lewisville is about an hour and a half from OK.

Yeah, that was my boat from Lewisville. I took that pic sitting up in the parking lot of the Isle De Bois Ramp at Lake Ray Roberts, which is about 30 to 45 minutes from the Texas/OK border. I am about 2 hours from Norman here in Lewiville. Maybe those are pics from the previous owner. I have one of those trees that has those purple blooms on it, and it typically blooms in early spring like that, but the blooms don't stay long before the leaves take over. I would say that pic was taken in early spring only because I have never seen mine bloom any other time of year. It is common for this tree to bloom like that before any of the others even bud. I know I have some pics of my boat from the previous owner, that may be the case here. Nice boat though. I love mine.

The pinkish/purple flowered trees look like eastern redbuds.  In this neck of the woods (mid-Missouri)  they're one of the first to bloom in spring.  Often in late March into very early april.  I'm probably wrong about the dogwood (the white blossums).  They would not be blooming when the redbuds are.  That may be a crabapple or a cherry tree.
