anybody knew that MISTER TWISTER originated in LA. My uncles good friend is the one who actually invented it. thats why I was asking about soft plastics I think I can get some free baits maybe I got a few packs today actually.

Maybe you can ask them why they stopped making their twister tail grub.  I believe it was 4 or 5" and it had awesome tail action.  I grew up using that grub in Junebug, Black/ Chartreuse tail, and black/ blue tail.  The ones they make now are junk.  

He actually sold the comapny a few years ago. He still gets money from it but makes no decissions about the comapny or somethi ng like that. He does own a thriving buissness close to TOLEDO BEND IN LA.

I use their small Mister Twister Single Tail Grubs on a jighead for fluke with a killie or spearing on there too. There not the best of quality but they have good action and get the job done, and fluke often bite the tail or rip it up after a few fish so you want the cheap stuff. Basic point there great for saltwater purposes but I definetly wouldn't use em for bassin. Also if you buy the real tiny ones they work pretty well on sunnies.

Love the action of the Mister Twister single tails, usually have a bit of luck with them too. Everything seems to like them, walleye, largemouth, smallmouth, crappie, sunnies(on a the little ones), carp, sauger, channel cat... and probably a few others I forgot to name there. Long story short: Jake you ever get any extras you want to give away I'll gladly find a good home for them!

WHY NOT THEY HAVE CAUGHT TONS OF BASS ?

My freind Mark, has a lot of them stockpiled and some similar hand pours. He puts em  on a jig head and he kills em on Locust Lake and Ranger Lake here in PA. When I was younger, they and Jelly Worms were a staple on Greenwood Lake in NY/NJ

I don't use grubs but Mister Twister 11" Phenom Worm is a dang good one!

You are right!  I can remember when Woo won a BASS tournament by pitching a Phenom Worm with a spincaster.

spincaster? Maybe I should get my Johnson [reel] repaired.

I can remeber when the Phenom Worm was the basic worm for NYS tournament bassers.  Everyone fished them.  I don't know why they wouldn't be just  as good today.

The 3" Twister Tail has caught a pile of smallies and walleyes for me over the years.
