I used to stay at Holiday Hideaway many, many years ago. A great resort but I have no idea about ownership now.

Try googling up Aunts Creek arm Resorts. There are quite a few right around Holiday Hideaway. Not sure about 24/7 access to a boat, you'd have to check that out.

Aunts Creek is an excellent area. Most anything out on Indian Point or Stormy Point (point 1) would be good (for boat rentals) and be sure to look in the Kimberling City area. If memory serves me right... the 'quiet' part of the lake is near Shell Knob. Unless it has changed drastically (and it could have), the Kimberling City to Shell Knob area was far removed from the whole Branson/Silver Dollar City scene.

I guess quiet part of the lake is relative.

I fished the Rock from the mid 70's into the 80's.  I was basically a fishermens lake since the Corps restricted shoreline development due to strict restrictions on how the land from the normal pool level up to top of flood pool could be changed.

From the late 80's on I fished LOZ as a friend bought a resort there.  When I finally went back to Table Rock around 98-99' I was shocked.  Condo's and large boat docks where in many places I figured they'd never be.  While nowhere near what LOZ has changed into, it's still gone from being a Fishermens lake to something quite different.  A long boat ride from Aunts creek to up above Shell Knob was an eye opener.  The lower end of the lake is a mess.

Yeah, it's busy during the warm weather period, but in April you should have the lake mostly to yourself, you'll need to check the water patrol website for how many Tourneys are going on that week. Could be lots, but it'll be mostly on the weekend.

Sorry I can't help on the cabin info, I live just up the road so I sleep at home. ;D
