We are going to Falcon in January and we built this spinnerbait trying to match the talapia down there. Never been there but fishfordollars really helped with some info THANKS Jack We wanted everyones opinion if you thought it would work.  Let me know what you think.

That should do it. Did you build the skirts or buy them?

the guy that is going with me works for hart bait company and he built them from taking a instock skirt and adding the peach color to it.

Tilapia is a forage in Falcon?

Not debating..just did not know that.

There are not many lakes in the US that can support their temp. requirements.

I'll start looking for some "tilapia looking" baits for our trip.

Tilapia is the forage on Falcon. All you have to do is glance across on the Mexico side at the nets in the water. Hundreds of them and they lay waste to the bass population on both sides of the border.

When the border patrol makes a run they collect nets and count them in miles, not feet.

FYI, they only collect the illegal ones that are placed at night on the Texas side.
