New Tackle Shop in OKC Area

Featured Replies

Just want you guys (and gals) that are in the OKC area know that there is a great new bass tackle shop on Briton and May, just east of the restaurants at Heffner.  It is called Lucky Lure Tackle.  I just found it tonight and the owner is a great guy.  They opened ten days ago it is a great alternative to BPS and Academy.

Thanks. I recently moved here so I will have to check it out

Yeah I just moved to this area my self and I was very disappointed with the few tackle shops I was able to find in the area... until I found this one.  ;)

Thanks for the heads up! I much prefer a smaller, locally owned business to the retail giants. I'll definitely be in there pretty soon.

Thanks for the heads up.  Went by there Friday and ended up dropping 40 bucks.  The two guys working there were great.  It may not have everything you can get at Bass Pro, but it's a lot easier to get to for me.

People like you make irt possible for the small guy to stay in business. You already know that they listen better and are more likely to get in something special for you guys.

I may have to be in OKC in Jan.  Is it usually too cold to get any fishing done there at that time?

Yeah pretty much from my experience.  I was getting them on Jerkbaits until three weeks ago.  Bunch of snow and ice now  :'(

Went and checked it out on Friday.  Awesome guys working there and pretty good selection of tackle. It was a very enjoyable experience
