Lynn Lane Reservoir

Featured Replies

Anyone every fish out at the lynn lane reservoir? I went out there a few days ago and had about a 3 pound bass but he spit the hook out right at the ledge on my first cast then not a single other bite for about 2 hours.  What do you fish with out there and where do you fish  at? I just stayed around the pump the whole time.

Thanks

Been awhile since I fished it. The most notable characteristic about this reservoir is its lack of characteristics. This lack of structure does not concentrate fish in any one area, the intake valve on the south side is where most of the fish congregate to the new water coming in. Look at the bright side, you wont get hung up often here. You'll have better luck fishing for sand bass here.....

If you have wheels I can tell you about much better places to fish than Lynn Lane.  Are you fishing from the bank?

At that point and time I was fishing from the bank but have since bought a boat.  Only place I have gotten the chance to try out is Ft Gibson and haven't had much luck there. If you have any advice on some places to fish in NE Oklahoma that would be awesome!

Okiefisher, you're kidding aren't you?  Are you seriously asking about places to fish in NE Oklahoma?  Well, there's only about 3000 miles of shoreline in around fifteen lakes that you could choose from.  Try Dripping Spings, near Okmulgee.

I know there are plenty of places to fish. I was just curious as to which produce rather than others.
