fishing scents and atractants

Featured Replies

I was woundering if anyone knew of a particular scent that worked well to put on plastics and other lures. I lve in Pa. The lake I fish is well known for bass and it has alot of vegitation. I mostly fish for bass but will go after anything. Please reply if you know of a fish atrractant that works well.  :-?

When I first started bass fishing I tried using scents and added them directly to the baits after every few casts, but I didn't notice much of a difference so I quit using them.

Although, ever since I got hooked on Chomper worms (which have a built in garlic scent), I sometimes spray Chomper juice into a new bags of worms (which don't have any scent). Does it really help? Heck if I know, but it gives me a little extra confidence.  I like to think the bass hold the bait a little longer due to the garlic taste, but who knows.

Read the book Knowing Bass by Keith A. Jones, PhD. It has excellent information about scent.

I like YUM LPT!! But that Carolina Lunker Sauce works well too.

X2 Love that YUM!

Upper Hand Scents make some awesome scents.  Megastrike is pretty good too.
