FisherCouple
If you could only use one lure....what would that lure be when fishing for walleye in Canada? I understand a lot of variables go into your choice..water clarity....time of year....etc. But if you had to select one lure that best catches walleye in a number of situations....what would it be? Garnet
Jigs take lots of 1/4 round head Chartruse and pink and I like eyes on the jigs. Jig and live bait will be really popular. Ask your resort how deep the wallyes are if it's getting 20ft plus move up to 3/8. Curly tails white, chartruse, yellow. And the minnow shape plastic 4 and 5 inch. Gulp or Powerbait. I also use a lot of banna head bucktails black and yellow, Black, and black and any color. I've never fished Lake of the Woods it's 24 hrs from my house in southern Ont. and I can be in Florida in less time. But walleye fishing is walleye fishing. Everbody walleye fishs up there so it should be hard to get info. Garnet
