hey guys, i would like to know if any members are from the Ottawa/Outaouais region. Im out in Gatineau, Quebec (aylmer sector). I new to the forum and love it so far lots of stuff i learned by reading post here so far. Any how i mostly fish the Ottawa river on the quebec side for SM bass, and i find that they love a white swirly tail jig on a green jig head or a tube jig ( dark green color). What baits do you guys use? ive been reading alot about yamamoto kreature and fat Ika, and i want to try these out and see if they work, have you guys used them out on the river?

Big-Dan, to BassResource.com! I'm not from around your area but I fish/hunt in the Barry's Bay area. I use many different baits (Shakey heads, Tubes, Senko types, Spinnerbaits, Crankbaits, Jigs, and the list goes on).

Unfortunately im not sure were Barry's Bay is but nice to meat you.

Barry's Bay is about 2 1/2 hours west of Gatineau. It's just outside of the South-East side of Algonquin Park. Here, check it out:
