Line Lube or whatever

Featured Replies

I know you can buy stuff to spray on your line to erase all memory. are there any things around the house that can do the same thing?

Good question.  Nothing like trying to find a way to save money.  However, I bought a spray can of Blakemore Real Magic last spring and it lasted all year for me. So it really does justify the $8 I payed for it.  Also, line lubricants don't erase all memory in line it just gets rid of most of it and makes the line softer and more manageable.

Don't try Automotive silicon spray, it's oil base and the reel majic is veg/fruit spry.

I don't think it's avaiable to the general public.

KVD Lure and Line Conditioner.

Reel Magic.

Spray a spot on washcloth and run line through the wet spot when spooling reels.

Continue to re-wet the spot as you spool the line.

Then, spray line once or twice on baitcaster or spinning reel before storing rig.

Spray during the day while fishing.

Pure silicone can be used too, but I prefer the KVD product even though it is expensive.

Wow thanks Sam. I'll have to agree with you guys for the reel magic
