I've had a few US servicemembers contact me via BR about fishing here in Korea in the past. So here's an open invitation to any servicemember stationed here in Korea that wants to link up for a day on the water this year. Won't cost you a penny. Bring your own food/water and if you have your own equipment that's great. Otherwise, I have everything you'll need. The only promise I make is that we'll make it as enjoyable as possible and hopefully pull in some fish. If you are located at Osan or Camp Humphreys, I'll even pick you up if you don't have a car here. If you are coming from outside the area, I will meet you at the bus station or any other on-base location at Osan or Humphreys. Anyone interested, PM me and I'll give you my cell number. Hope to have some takers. (First come, first serve.)

I found this topic when I searched for Korea Bass Fishing.  I will be traveling to Korea for work April 17 - May 1 and have a weekend open.  I would LOVE to get out and see what the Korean bass fishing is like.  I am not a service member (like the title of this post asked), but I still would love to find someone to take me out for a few hours.

I will be in the Seoul area.

hey,  this is an awesome offer.  I just got back this weekend from a bust fly fishing trip in inje-gun.  I like all kinds of fishing but am mainly a bass fisher.  I keep reading about the snakehead fishing here and they seem pretty awesome and sound like a cool catch.  I would like to get with you sometime to go fishing.  I really dont know where to go around here since i'm fairly new and really dont have anyone to go with.  Let me know the next time your going out. www.shinsfishing.co.kr (It's mostly in Korean, but you can see the pictures and check out some of the tackle.)  The guy that owns that site/store is famous for snakehead fishing in Korea.  His store is located in Pyeongtaek.

I'll be in Korea in July at the hump and i will take you up on that offer.

Shoot me an email when you are ready to go.  So far, I've only taken one person out.  I went out with Brandon ('OnTheHunt' - see a couple of posts above) last weekend and we had a decent day.  Nothing special, but we caught a few fish and had a good day.

Are you still around on the pennisula and if so does the offer still stand. I have only been in country for about 2 months so I have almost a whole year to get a trip in. I'm stationed in Area 1 on Camp Stanley.
