I have looked through the catalog that was emailed for the Bass Pro opening in Foxboro.  I was wondering if you were to go to Thrusdays grand opening, do they have some great sales/deals that normally isnt advertized?  I would just assume a huge opening like this, Bass Pro will have some great deals on reels, rods and lures (also, maybe some giveaways??)

Besides the advertised teaser sales, most BPS stores have bins throughout the fishing area filled with overstocks or slow sellers.  These usually aren't even advertised in their local circulars they send out.

Maybe a "soft" opening today?  Just a thought...

I've been to 2 Grand Openings, and they usually keep bins full of discounted items.  It could be anything from Zoom plastics for $1.99 to Bandit crankbaits for $2.99.  They get picked over quick, so you almost have to be the first few people in the door.
